Welcome to the Northaw & Cuffley Residents Association Committee

About Us

Officers

Michael Green – Chair

I have lived in Cuffley since 1962 and have always been a member of the association and its forerunner. My other local interests include Committee Member of the Cuffley and Goffs Oak Medical Practice Patient Participation Group, Committee Member of The Kidston Institute at Northaw, Volunteer for the Age UK Hertfordshire Visiting Scheme, and Volunteer at the Epilepsy Clinic, Harlow Hospital.

Vice Chair

Position vacant.

Linda Stubbs – Secretary

I have lived in Cuffley for over 25 years.  I  am a retired  secondary school teacher. I recently joined the NCRA  when It became apparent  how Cuffley and Northaw will change with the proposed housing developments. I  believe the greenbelt is sacrosanct and it should be protected.

Diane Draper – Treasurer

I have lived in Cuffley for over 20 years and been a member of NCRA for most of that time and am now the Treasurer. I am interested in planning applications for our two villages and review them for the area on a weekly basis on behalf of NCRA. I am a Committee Member of the Patient Participation Group for Cuffley & Goffs Oak   Medical Practice. I am also a volunteer at the 60 Plus luncheon club in Potters Bar and for Enfield & District Veteran Vehicle Trust at Whitewebbs Museum of Transport.

Mike Clark – IT & Website

I have lived in the Parish since 2009 and currently a Parish Councillor.  I have campaigned for many years and continue to campaign for the reduction of Green Belt allocated for future building projects.

Other Committee Members

Stanley Buckley

I am retired and  have lived in Cuffley for the majority of the past 50 years.  It’s an enviable environment and I am hopeful that it may be preserved

New Committee Members Welcome

Interested in joining our committee?  Please do get in contact for an informal chat.  It doesn’t take up a lot of your time but it does reward you with being able to ‘give back’ to the community and help to protect the reasons we live in either of our two lovely rural villages.
